GeoSpectrum Prospects Home

Executive Summary

GeoSpectrum is offering for sale a Minnelusa prospect with reserves of 6.8 MMBO from eight wells in the Powder River Basin in Crook County, Wyoming. We have identified this prospect utilizing offset well information, production data and 3D seismic interpretation.

The objective section in the Minnelusa is the A and B sands at a drill depth of 8000 feet. A structural/stratigraphic trap has been seismically defined, caused by the pinchout of the B Sand on to a westward plunging nose. A structural closure is mapped at the Dakota and Minnelusa level. Well production in a nearby field averages about 850 MBO/well on 40 acre spacing. There is commercial Muddy and Dakota production on the structure also.

The prospect bonus is $200,000 for interpretation and land costs. GeoSpectrum will retain a 25% WI and be carried to production casing point on the first well drilled on the prospect. We will deliver a lease with a 20% royalty burden.

If your company is interested in reviewing the subsurface interpretation or terms of this prospect with GeoSpectrum, please contact Dr. James J. Reeves at the contact phone numbers below. You will be asked to sign a non-disclosure and non-compete agreement that will cover the prospect. This agreement will be effective for two years from the date of execution.

This prospect is subject to prior sale. All reasonable offers will be considered. Please contact us if you have any questions or desire additional information on the prospect.
